Query related to thematic analysis.
Hello, my research paper is based on thematic study. The topic of my research is of Gothicism in novels The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux and The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo. I have already written the introduction chapter of my paper in which i have given a brief about what is gothicism and also about both of these novel.
Now, i need to move further but i dont  have much knowledge about thematic analysis. It is something that was suggested by my guide. I don’t have any idea that how many sections should i devote to both of these novels. I think 2 sections should be there to explain about each novel separately. But i am not too sure about the structure of the paper; should it be very detailed or not?
Please someone clear this doubt of mine and also explain me how to do thematic analysis.

Just keep in mind that, thematic analysis is done in qualitative research and also, it’s concerned mainly with the analysis of themes. This method need a large description. Thematic analysis in not only about determining the words and phrases in text related to your theme but it moves on to identify implicit and explicit ideas within the data
So, I totally agree with you, that you should include 2 sections discussing in details about the both the novels and gothic elements in them.

You can also go through the research papers with thematic analysis as their methodology. I think, that will really help you and will solve your problem.
