PICO is a dominant framework for clinical questions. How would you adapt or replace it (e.g., with SPIDER, PICOS, PICOC) for a review in the social sciences, business, or engineering, and why?

For social sciences or business, SPIDER (Sample, Phenomenon of Interest, Design, Evaluation, Research type) is often preferable as it includes study design and qualitative data. Alternatively, PICOS adds "Study design" to ensure methodological rigor, which is critical for non-interventional research. Â
