Are there environmental science publications with German-translated titles or keywords?

For a comprehensive literature review, I need to ensure I'm not missing significant European, particularly German-speaking, research. My searches in English databases are limited. Could you point me toward specific journals, publishers, or databases in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland that publish high-quality environmental research with German metadata, or that provide reliable translations of titles and keywords?

I would recommend a two-pronged approach. First, search directly in the FIZ Karlsruhe portal or Web of Science, using their filter for "German" language. Key journals include Umweltwissenschaften und Schadstoff-Forschung and GAIA. Second, don't overlook the Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt) publications, which are often goldmines of applied research with English abstracts. I have also found that many established global journals, like Environmental Science and Pollution Research, require authors to provide German keywords and translated titles, which are searchable in their native systems. Always check the "Supporting Information" for translations.
