Even the best frameworks are showing their limits. Major gaps include: 1) They don't play well together, making integration a headache. 2) They're weak on the "people problem"—changing culture and behavior. 3) It's still really hard to measure "how secure are we?" in business terms. 4) They lag behind new tech like AI and IoT. 5) They offer poor guidance for managing third-party risk. Also, they can be overwhelming for small businesses and aren't agile enough for today's fast-moving threats, leaving gaps in real-time response capabilities.
