Hi Rahul,
Convenience sampling method, also known as availability sampling method relies on data collected from population members who have actively participated in the study. In convenience sampling the primary data source will be used for the research work without any additional requirements. That is, this sampling approach includes obtaining participants wherever it is convenient. Advantages of this type of sampling are:
1.Ease of research and sampling
2.Data can be collected in a short period of time
3.Cheapest sampling method

Quota sampling approach involves division of the population into exclusive groups. The number of quota or respondents to be drawn from each category is specified in prior to the sampling and the final set of respondent will be selected by the interviewer. Quota sampling finds application in commercial research.

Rahul, quota sampling is used in two scenarios.
When you have specific criteria for performing your research you can use quota sampling as it allows selection of subgroups.
Quota sampling can be used when you want to conduct a comparative analysis between two subgroups.
