Can someone explain me the active and passive vibration control in vibration isolators?

I can explain about passive vibration control but do not have sufficient knowledge about active control. Passive vibration control isolation systems contains a spring and damper. The spring smoothens the disturbances and vibrations whereas the damper terminates the amplified oscillation within the system.

Hey
In active vibration control, signals are obtained by sensitive detectors and are analysed by electronic circuitry. This electronic circuitry also drives electro-dynamic actuators. In the later stage, a counter-force will be produced to counteract the vibration.

In passive vibration control, the mechanical response of spring-mass systems reduces for frequencies above the resonance frequency and the damper decreases the vibration amplitude within the resonance range.due to the low-pass feature, passive damping are designed with low resonance frequencies. Most of the anti-vibration mountings are pneumatic as the pneumatic springs are popular for high damping.
