From my experience engaging with practitioners, a key reflexive question is whether social innovation empowers communities or merely rebrands existing power structures. I have seen well-intended innovations shift responsibility from institutions to individuals. I would recommend asking who benefits, who decides, and who bears the risk. This kind of reflexivity keeps social work grounded in its ethical commitments rather than managerial trends.
