From my experience observing digital governance debates, a future open social information system would likely be decentralized, interoperable, and governed by shared standards rather than a single authority. I have seen growing interest in systems that balance openness with privacy and accountability. I would recommend imagining such a system as layered, combining public data, community oversight, and transparent algorithms. Its success would depend less on technology alone and more on trust, governance, and global cooperation.
