Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to machines designed to perform tasks requiring human-like cognition, such as learning and problem-solving. Artificial Stupidity (AS) is a colloquial term for the predictable, often catastrophic failures of AI when it misapplies logic, lacks contextual understanding, or is fed poor data. Unlike natural human intelligence (adaptive, intuitive) or human error (variable, emotional), AI/AS are products of explicit design and training data, making their behaviors reproducible and systematically flawed.
