Typically, an introduction chapter should include :
Statement of the importance of your study
Previous works on your study
An objective statement
Limitations of your study
Brief explanation of your research topic

While writing an introduction chapter, start with a catchy statement that grasps reader’s attention. Make sure that your introductory stanza gives brief explanation about your research and include a research statement at the end of the paragraph. Also ensure that a direct relationship is established between the introduction chapter and your research topic.
