Primary data collection methods

You can collect primary data either through observation or by conducting the interview. 
In observational method the data can be collected in the laboratory or in the natural environment. 
The advantage of using method is that the subjective bias is eliminated.
In interview method the data collection involves verbal stimuli presentation and replies in return. 
The advantage of using this method is more information can be collected in depth.

I would suggest you to go with questionnaire method. Here you can collect large samples, 
eliminate interviewer bias and the respondent will have enough time to answer the questions.
