Is there an archive or source for accessing British official documents?

Moving from theory to primary research, I need to analyze official government white papers and parliamentary proceedings for my political science project. I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of potential sources online. Which archives or databases are considered the most authoritative and comprehensive for post-20th century UK official documents?

For comprehensive, authoritative access, I recommend two primary sources based on my research. First, the UK Government Web Archive for recent publications. Second, and most critical, is the official UK Legislation website for statutes, and Hansard for parliamentary debates. For a broader, searchable repository of historical official publications, the National Archives is indispensable. I would also suggest checking the dedicated websites of relevant government departments, as they often host current reports and consultations not yet aggregated elsewhere.
