From my experience analyzing green market transitions, policy reduces costs most effectively by accelerating scale and learning. I have seen public procurement, temporary subsidies, and clear standards reduce uncertainty for producers. I would recommend policies that internalize environmental costs for conventional products while supporting innovation in green alternatives. Over time, this combination allows eco-products to compete on price without relying on permanent financial support.
