Are there reliable online resources for molecular biology learning?

While I value classic textbooks, the dynamic nature of techniques like CRISPR and next-gen sequencing benefits from updated digital formats. I need trustworthy online hubs whether video series, curated databases, or interactive tutorials that the community respects for accuracy and pedagogical value, not just flashy animations.

Absolutely. I consistently recommend two types of resources. First, for technique fundamentals, the Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE) video library is invaluable I've used it to train new lab members. Second, for conceptual depth, the online courses from MIT OpenCourseWare or HHMI's BioInteractive are exceptional. They provide structured, peer-reviewed content. Remember, treat these like a textbook: use them as primary reference, not just supplemental browsing. Always cross-check protocols with current literature, but for foundations, these are superb.
