Are there Italian sociologists actively researching youth labor flexibility and precarity?

I’m reviewing European literature on youth transitions.Italy frequently appears as a key case of labor market insecurity.I want to know whether this topic has a strong scholarly base within Italy.

From my experience reading European youth studies, I’ve seen a strong Italian contribution to research on precarity and flexible labor. Italian sociologists often connect insecure employment to delayed adulthood, family dependence, and generational inequality. I would recommend engaging this literature because it blends macro-level labor analysis with rich qualitative insight. Their work is particularly valuable for understanding how neoliberal reforms shape everyday life trajectories in Southern European contexts.
