From my experience studying environmental policy impacts, higher prices often reflect the true costs that were previously externalized. I have seen eco-products absorb expenses related to cleaner inputs, certification, and compliance with regulations. I would recommend viewing these prices as signals rather than failures. Over time, innovation, scale, and policy learning can reduce costs, but early phases of environmental regulation often expose the real economic cost of sustainability.
