Where can information on Operations Research in European countries be found?

I'm beginning a comparative study on national approaches to operational research. While US sources are plentiful, I'm hitting barriers finding centralized information on its parallel development across different European nations. I need guidance on where to look specific archives, institutional databases, or key scholarly networks to find reliable data and historical documents on this topic.

I would recommend starting with the professional societies, like the Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO). Their historical bulletins are gold. Next, target the archives of key institutions: the UK's National Archives for wartime OR, TU Eindhoven's holdings, or the records of companies like British Coal. Don't overlook dissertations from European technical universities they often contain untapped institutional histories. My own breakthrough came from a retired professor's personal archive donated to a university library. Persistence with institutional contacts is key.
