Where can a researcher locate periodicals, like magazines or journals, published during the Mexican Revolution (1910-1920)?

I'm studying political propaganda and need access to the actual periodicals circulated among different factions. I'm looking for both physical archives, preferably in Mexico, and any digitization projects that might provide remote access to these fragile materials.

Your search should focus on several key institutions. In Mexico, the Hemeroeca Nacional de México (HNM) at UNAM is the premier archive for periodicals. The Archivo General de la Nación (AGN) and the Biblioteca de México also hold significant collections. For digital access, I recommend the "Independent and Revolutionary Mexican Newspapers" collection from the Library of Congress and Readex, and "Hemeroteca Digital" from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. From my research experience, contacting the specific state archive in the region you're studying is also vital, as many local revolutionary papers are held there and may not be fully digitized.
