Tools like Ansys HFSS and CST Microwave Studio are widely used because they offer rigorous 3D field solutions, adaptive meshing, and robust optimization suites, which are essential at mmWave where tiny dimensional changes matter. I’ve also seen Keysight EMPro and COMSOL Multiphysics perform well when coupled with circuit co?simulation or multiphysics effects.
