What is considered the most significant paper in quantum gravitational field theories?

I'm defending my PhD in six months and am starting the job search for postdoc roles. The market feels competitive and opaque. I know about the AAS job register, but are there other key portals, especially for European or international facilities? How can I strategically search for positions that align with my niche in, say, exoplanet atmospheres?

The postdoc search requires more strategy than the PhD search. Yes, the AAS and ESO job registers are essential. However, for a niche like exoplanet atmospheres, I would recommend targeted actions. First, identify the top five research groups in your sub-field and check their institutional job pages weekly; many post ads there first. Second, subscribe to relevant mailing lists like the Exoplanet Newsletter. Third, and most effective, leverage your network from conferences. Tell your advisor and collaborators you're looking. I have seen many positions filled through direct recommendation before a public ad is ever posted. Start preparing a compelling 2-page research proposal now; many fellowships require it.
