What are the objectives of the special issue on vector biology in the South Asian Journal of Experimental Biology?

Before considering a submission, I want to understand the special issue's deliberate focus. Is it aimed at regional vector species, novel control strategies, epidemiology, or a combination of these aspects?

While I haven't seen the specific call, based on the journal's regional focus and current global priorities, I would expect its objectives to be multifaceted. Typically, such an issue aims to highlight research on major regional vectors (like Aedes or Anopheles species), assess emerging control technologies beyond insecticides, and explore the intersection of climate change with disease epidemiology in South Asia. The core objective is usually to consolidate interdisciplinary work that bridges field entomology, molecular biology, and public health for practical impact.
