What are the most significant differences between the MDGs and the post-2015 SDGs?
I am studying global development policy and want to understand how the Sustainable Development Goals differ from the earlier Millennium Development Goals in scope, structure, and implementation approach.

From my experience, the SDGs represent a major expansion beyond the MDGs. I have seen that while the MDGs focused mainly on poverty and basic needs in developing countries, the SDGs are universal and integrate environmental, social, and economic dimensions. I would recommend viewing the SDGs as a systems-based framework, emphasizing interconnected goals, partnerships, and long-term sustainability. This shift reflects a more holistic and inclusive understanding of global development challenges.
