From my experience, the main challenges in hydrogen energy development are high production costs, limited infrastructure, and energy losses across the value chain. I have seen that green hydrogen depends heavily on cheap renewable electricity, which is not yet widely available. Storage and transport also remain technically complex. I would recommend viewing hydrogen as a complementary solution for hard-to-decarbonize sectors rather than a universal energy replacement in the short term.
