Similarities between literature review process and meta-analysis process

No, I don’t think there is any similarities between literature review and meta-analysis process.

The only one similarity between the two processes is that they are performed in order to integrate and 
synthesise the results from multiple research articles on a specific topic and summarise the current state of the field of study.

Meta-analysis and literature review are quite different from each other. But yes, 
there are a very few similarities (minor although) among them. 
One is that they summarise the present status of the field of study, 
contains extensive reference list, and both provide a list of keywords.
