Is there a documented connection between Ezra Pound and St. Anselm?

Ezra Pound draws on diverse philosophical and theological sources.St. Anselm appears less commonly discussed in this context.I want to know if a meaningful link exists.

From my experience studying Pound’s intellectual range, direct engagement with St. Anselm is minimal and indirect at best. I have seen Pound reference medieval thinkers selectively, often filtered through broader theological or economic concerns. I would recommend approaching this as a contextual affinity rather than a clear influence. Any connection is more thematic and philosophical than textual or sustained.
