Inserting quote in a review paper

I have to write a review paper in literature field. My study requires me to put in a lot of quotes given by famous personnel, but that would get me in the plagiarism trap! How am I supposed to evade this? Please help out!

1.Use an independent clause and a colon.
2.Incorporate the quote into the flow of your sentence.
3. Use a simple introductory phrase.
4. Give proper references, not to leave even a single quote
5. Follow some guideline apa mla or any
6. Quote only what’s important and unavoidable
7. Write only the relevant portions
