How do i model a redox flow battery in simulink?
I want to build a simple Redox Flow Battery model in Simulink for a grid integration study. Any tips on where to start?

Keep it simple but functional. Model it as a controlled voltage source in series with a resistance. The open-circuit voltage depends on state of charge (SOC)—use a lookup table from your cell data. SOC is calculated by integrating the charging/discharging current. Don't forget pump losses: add a block that consumes power based on flow rate and current. That's the essence of a flow battery: electrochemical storage with significant parasitic losses. Start there, then add complexity as needed.
