How do AI-powered credit scoring models affect financial inclusion compared to traditional methods?

When writing the limitations section for my scoping review, I feel a tension between being transparent and undermining the value of my work. How should I thoughtfully and necessarily detail the constraints of my own process, such as search strategies or language choices, to be academically honest without inviting undue criticism?

I recommend reframing this: a well-articulated limitation section doesn't undermine your work; it establishes your credibility as a rigorous scholar. I always state constraints like search window, database choices, or language restrictions upfront. For instance, I might write, "Our review is limited to English-language publications, which may exclude relevant studies from certain regions." This honesty allows readers to properly contextualize your map's boundaries. It also directly justifies your future research implications, showing a mature understanding of the knowledge ecosystem.
