Has anyone successfully used crowdsourcing approaches in the development of ODL courses?
ODL programs often require rapid content development and diverse expertise. I’m interested in whether crowdsourcing can enhance quality and inclusivity. This question is relevant to scalable and collaborative course design.

From my experience, crowdsourcing can work in ODL course development when carefully moderated. I have seen success in using it for content ideas, case studies, and peer review rather than full course control. I would recommend clear quality standards and expert curation. When guided properly, crowdsourcing increases relevance, diversity of perspectives, and a sense of shared ownership.
