Could neutrinos travel through higher dimensions?

Could models with extra dimensions (e.g., string theory, braneworld scenarios) allow neutrinos to travel through or interact with those dimensions?

The possibility of neutrinos propagating through extra spatial dimensions is a theoretical concept explored in some physics models beyond the Standard Model. If true, neutrinos could take "shortcuts" through spacetime, potentially explaining certain anomalies without exceeding the speed of light in our 4D perception. However, there is currently no experimental evidence to support this hypothesis. All observed neutrino behavior to date is consistent with travel within the familiar four dimensions (three space + one time) of standard physics, albeit with their unique properties like mass oscillations.
