Use of Crucifixion in Ancient Macedonia

I’ve come across references to crucifixion in ancient contexts and was wondering—is there any evidence that the Ancient Macedonians used crucifixion as a form of execution before the 4th century BCE?

There’s no solid archaeological or contemporary literary evidence suggesting that Macedonians used crucifixion before the 4th century BCE. The practice is much better documented among the Persians and later the Romans. While ancient historians like Curtius Rufus mention Alexander the Great using crucifixion during his eastern campaigns, this is generally seen as an adopted Persian practice, not something rooted in traditional Macedonian legal customs.
