Brains can think "against humanity" due to complex psychopathologies, extreme ideological conditioning, or corrupted moral reasoning where in-group/out-group dynamics override empathy. It can stem from neurological factors, profound trauma, or the rationalization of selfishness or hatred through distorted ethical frameworks. This highlights the disconnect between individual cognition and the prosocial, cooperative impulses essential for humanity's collective survival.
