How can I examine the link between decision-making styles and career adaptability?

I’m using the General Decision-Making Style Scale and the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale. What’s the right way to statistically relate the two?

A common approach is to compute total or subscale scores for both scales and then run a correlation analysis. Pearson’s correlation works if the data are normally distributed; otherwise, Spearman’s is safer. Tools like SPSS or R make this straightforward and are standard in this kind of research.
