Controlling fiber distribution is difficult but achievable. It can be influenced through feedstock design and process tuning, such as using shear-thinning inks and adjusting nozzle geometry, print speed, and toolpaths to align fibers during extrusion. More advanced approaches include magnetic or electric field-assisted printing for active fiber orientation control.
