Can someone advise on developing a course aimed at overcoming student laziness or lack of motivation?
Student disengagement is often labeled as laziness without deeper analysis. I’m interested in whether curriculum design can address motivation constructively. This question matters for student success and well-being.

From my experience, what is labeled as laziness is often a lack of structure, purpose, or skills. I have seen effective courses focus on goal-setting, habit formation, time management, and reflective practice. I would recommend framing the course around self-regulation rather than moral judgment. When students understand how motivation works and practice small, achievable behaviors, engagement improves naturally.
